#2: CINDERELLA

The second princess, Cinderella.

Cinderella is a headstrong and independent young woman. Kind to most, extremely mature and has shown that she can overcome her obstacles without the aid of magic, intelligent and also clever. Brave, resourceful, very patient and calm.

“Cinderella is the second Disney Princess and the title character in Disney's 12th animated feature film Cinderella, released in 1950. She is often considered the "Leader of the Disney Princesses". Forced into servitude by her evil stepmother and cruel stepsisters, Cinderella dreams of going to the ball. When all seems lost, her fairy godmother allows her to attend, where she meets and falls in love with the Prince. Cinderella is based on the heroine of the French fairy tale Cinderella by Charles Perrault. Originally voiced by Ilene Woods, in recent animated features she is currently voiced by Jennifer Hale. In the original movie, Cinderella's hair was intended to be more of a strawberry-blonde color, but today she is depicted as having blonde hair.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disney_Princess

“Lady Tremaine is the main antagonist of Disney's Cinderella. She doesn't harm her stepdaughter physically, but seeks to punish and abuse her psychologically, motivated by her jealousy of Cinderella's beauty, as it serves to accentuate the greediness and awkwardness of the stepmother's own daughters, Anastasia and Drizella. Lady Tremaine is also a socialite, determined to gain higher status by marrying one of her daughters to Prince Charming or another bachelor of noble blood.

She is often considered the most hated Disney villain, being very cold, calculating, bitter and ruthless, and also for callously maltreating her stepdaughter even when there is no material gain to be obtained; she locks Cinderella in her tower room when she knows her own daughters won't fit the glass slipper.” http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Lady_Tremaine
